Eric and Julie have settled into Orlando by the way of Chicago. Moving back to Julie’s home state was always the plan. With their 3 boys off to college they found Orlando to be their home along with their 3 dogs. Eric takes every opportunity to be involved in the community from volunteering, consulting and working with young entrepreneurs.
Eric has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership within the software and services sector, I have built a career helping companies grow, strategize, and succeed. My journey took an unexpected turn in March 2023 when I was diagnosed with throat cancer. This life-altering event brought challenges I never anticipated, including dysphagia, that have required me to rethink my career path.
Rather than dwell on what I can no longer do, I have chosen to pivot and embrace new opportunities. I founded SalesSmart Consulting, a boutique consulting firm that provides strategic sales and marketing insights. Additionally, I am proud to work alongside my wife, Julie, on her thriving online business.
As I navigate this new chapter, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported me. I actively volunteer as a mentor with SCORE, the American Cancer Society, and SPOHNC, helping others find strength and direction in their journeys.
I am passionate about using my experience to empower others in business and life, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and entrepreneurs.
