About Bandit

Meet Pete Gibson, owner/operator of HydroDog “Bandit” in the Kansas City area. Pete
found HydroDog on Facebook one day and was sucked in by the awesomeness of the Big
Blue Dog. After reaching out to find out more about it Melissa McFarland walked him
through the process of becoming part of the family.

Pete’s love of animals meshed perfectly with HydroDog’s mission to help save shelter dogs
while running a fun and enjoyable business, convinced him to take the leap into the grand
world of mobile grooming. HydroDog helped him find a way to channel his love for animals
into a blend of business and charity with it’s “Bathe to Save” charity events accompanied by
a solid business model that was profitable while still giving back by helping to change
shelter dogs lives.

Pete is married to Lindsey Gibson who is a kitchen and bath designer for Custom Wood
Products. They have been married since 2009 and have an amazing and loving French
Bulldog fur baby named Stewie. They share a love for all animals but dogs especially. Their
wedding gift to each other was and English Bulldog fur baby named Tucker who recently
passed from old age. “We both have a lot of love to give to our furry friends and I look
forward to bringing that care and love to work with me every day to spoil your furry family
members.” Pete has had multiple breeds of dogs throughout his life and knows they each
have a unique personality. He loves having the opportunity to work with a large variety of
dogs all shapes and sizes.

Pete completed his intensive hands on training at HydroDog grooming academy, taught by
Becky and Jay Walker who have 30 years of grooming experience. He learned about
bathing, grooming and the importance of safety for your pet. He will always put the safety
and well being of your furry family member as his top priority. With Hydrodog’s one on
one environment, your pet will receive all of the undivided care and attention. He wants
your pet to feel safe, calm and loved just as he would want his own pet to feel while being
groomed, and will do everything he can to make sure your pet has the best experience
possible!
