Dog bathing event to benefit Dakin Humane Society

March 2, 2018

HydroDog is excited to announce our public dog bathing event to benefit the Dakin Humane Society on March 24! We’re taking the opportunity to introduce our newest franchise, HydroDog Teska, out of West Springfield, Massachusetts during the event. They will begin to host monthly dog bathing events to help local humane societies and shelter organizations in and around West Springfield.

HydroDog holds nonprofit events nationwide with their Big Blue Dog mobile grooming vans to help shelter dogs through Bathe to Save, a national dog washing tour and local event series.  The national tour is organized and conducted by HydroDog Founder Anthony Amos, his wife, and their three children. With the tour in its second year, HydroDog is now launching recurring local Bathe To Save events that are conducted by its mobile dog grooming franchisees across the country.  HydroDog’s Bathe To Save dog washing events at shelters and rescue organizations serve as fundraisers for these shelters, so by bringing your dog to get washed you will be supporting the shelter and promoting animal adoption.

Give your dog a good wash for a great cause. Come see us from 1-4 p.m. EDT on Saturday, March 24 at 171 Union Street in Springfield. All money raised will be donated to Dakin Humane Society.

Dakin Humane Society is a community supported animal welfare organization that provides shelter, medical care, spay/neuter services, and behavioral rehabilitation to more than 20,000 animals each year.  Lesley Maple, who co-owns the West Springfield HydroDog business with her husband, Jody, operates a pet care business and has been a K9 Elite volunteer at the Dakin Humane Society for three years.

Between bi-monthly nonprofit events, HydroDog travels to local residences to groom and wash dogs. To make a dog grooming appointment in the West Springfield area, call HydroDog Teska at 413-327-7400.
